Claudia Lavieri Lapetina
Over 30 years Lapetina's office of Architecture corresponded to the experience of it's titular professional, Claudia Maria Lavieri Lapetina, whom in 2010 renounced from her daily activities at the company to dedicate her time to academic works. Graduated from Mackenzie University in 1976 and FAU USP in 2007 and 2013, the Professor and Doctor of Architecture, Claudia resumes her post as leading professional after having concluded the configuration of the new and celebrated Architecture and Urbanism Graduation Course at São Paulo’s Federal Institute of Education.
Since 1983 on its foundation, the office has had many partners, colleagues and names, even giving her the opportunity of working with her son, engineer Bruno Lapetina. Still, trough the ups and downs in the Brazilian civil construction market the focus has been always prioritizing housing plans, at what Lapetina’s did manage to keep incessant performance.
However, institutional and services targeted projects have reaped the office notoriousness and visibility. Among those, in the city of São Paulo: the Radio and TV Bandeirantes Transmission Tower, a retrofit in a 1940's residential building to a head office to the Commerciaries Federation of São Paulo and the "Axix" offices building at Giovanni Gronchi Av., currently headquarter's to TIM telephony.
